About Me

Born and raised in Massachusetts, I found myself at an early age enamored by the local New England restaurant scene. I moved to Boston to attend Suffolk University for Business Management, and to further my career in the restaurant industry. While in college, I worked at Legal Sea Foods Park Plaza for 3 years, which at that time was the flagship restaurant and largest wine program in the company. My interest in food and beverage grew immensely while working there, so when I graduated college, I accepted a position at Eastern Standard to learn from the best. I tended bar for fours at Eastern Standard, with growing responsibilities over the years. I was eventually responsible for all of the house-made ingredients and cocktail development.

Ready for my next challenge, I accepted the position of Beverage Director at soon-to-open Alden & Harlow in Harvard Square. Here, I created the beverage program and managed a successful team leading to many awards. Two years later, we opened a sister restaurant, Waypoint, where I also created the beverage program and won many awards. Both bar programs quickly gained a lot of local notoriety and were responsible for pushing the boundaries in our city. It was at this point that I decided I was ready to venture out to create a cocktail bar of my own, a special place in the city I love that continues to push the envelope in the beverage community!

While working towards opening my own bars, I began consulting on restaurants in the city to help operators to have successful beverage programs. My passion for teaching was re-ignited, and I am truly excited watching these operations grow!
